Agricultural Soil Health System Upstart Lands Key Influencer as Its Chief Strategy Officer
MyLand is proud to announce that Peter Williams will be joining its dynamic team, bringing his extensive background building large-scale global agriculture businesses and emerging technology platforms; and expertise in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions transactions through his prior career in investment banking, to MyLand’s emerging ag technology systems and regenerative agriculture platform.
“I’m excited to be joining such a dynamic team and important company,” says Mr. Williams. “Not only does MyLand benefit the farmer through increased yield and profitability, but healthy soil is absolutely critical to our environment. Healthy soil leads to healthy food, healthy people and a healthy planet and I am looking forward to helping move our MyLand mission forward.”
Peter has over 20 years of investment banking, capital markets, corporate development and entrepreneurial experience. As an investment banker at DLJ/Credit Suisse and CIBC he was involved in executing greater than $15 billion in capital raising and M&A transactions in a broad range of industries including agriculture, renewables, utilities and chemicals. “Our plans to deliver a sophisticated, scalable solution to enable and encourage healthy soil are quite ambitious. We are excited that Peter is willing to share his extensive background in finance and corporate development so that we can give growers a proven agriculture soil health system to actively participate in the regenerative agriculture movement,” adds Dane Hague, Co-founder and CEO, MyLand.
